Changes to Default Voices

Voices every ElevenLabs user has access to are now officially referred to as "Default" Voices.  Previously they were known as "Premade".

All default voices have received new fine-tunings for Turbo v2, multilingual v2, and Turbo v2.5, based on more extended recordings with the voice actors.

Only the following voices are now shown by default:

• Alice
• Bill
• Brian
• Callum
• Charlie
• Charlotte
• Chris
• Daniel
• George
• Liam
• Lily
• Matilda
• Sarah

Access Legacy Voices: All other Default voices are now "Legacy" voices and are no longer listed in the voice selection drop-downs on the website, nor the API endpoint to retrieve voices.  You can still access legacy voices in the following ways:

• In voice selection dropdowns, either search for the voice name or you can find legacy voices in the "Recently Used" section if they've been used recently.
• On the My Voices web page, it still lists both current and legacy voices.
  
• With the API set show_legacy = true when sending GET requests to /v1/voices
