Speech Synthesis UI Redesign

We're thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new speech synthesis experience today. Here are some key features we'd like to highlight:

Streamlined Experience

Instead of being greeted by all the controls at once, you now see settings as you start typing or pasting content. You can easily select voices without any interruption, and advanced settings are conveniently placed in a new sidebar for when you need them. Additionally, if you want to tweak results and quickly regenerate, you can do so directly from the new sidebar.

History Easily Accessible in a New Tab

History no longer occupies a large portion of your screen. It now has its own dedicated tab, allowing you to easily browse your previous generations. You can effortlessly copy old prompts by hovering over them, or simply play or download any necessary files.

Visual Design Lift

The page is now much more expressive, featuring our new brand's sound wave in the background. This wave blurs away as you start typing, keeping your focus on the content. This is just the beginning of many new brand elements being incorporated into the product.

A Whole New Set of Components

This update also introduces a completely new set of frontend components, reimagined from the ground up. These include tabbed headers, icon buttons, new tooltips, a new side panel, and more. This redesign will make future frontend work much faster, as we've considered various states and components we might need and their applications beyond the speech page.
